Bible Verses

Posted  below are a few comforting Bible verses. The entire Bible is meaningful  /helpful and the few verses below are ones that I felt were worth the  highlight. I encourage you to find ones specific to your situation.

*  "The temptations in your life are no different from what others  experience. And God is faithful. He will not allow the temptation to be  more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way  out so that you can endure" (1 Corinthians 10: 13 NLT).

*"Humanly speaking, it is impossible. But with God everything is possible" (Matthew 19:26 NLT).

*  "He will feed his flock like a shepherd. He will carry the lambs in his  arms, holding them close to his heart. He will gently lead the mother  sheep with their young." (Isaiah 40:11 NLT).

*"But  those who trust in the Lord will find new strength. They will soar high  on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk  and not faint" (Isaiah 40:31 NLT).

* "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted; he rescues those whose spirits are crushed" (Psalm 34:18 NLT).

*   When I suffered through PPD and other circumstances in life, I always  questioned "why me?" I learned that I can only see through my own  perspective and not God's perspective. His will is always better and  perfect than what I can understand through my human mind. "'My thoughts  are nothing like your thoughts,' says the Lord. 'And my ways are far  beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher  than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts are  higher than your thoughts'" (Isaiah 55:8-9 NLT). Job, in the Bible, was  tested and he questioned God (Job 1-42 NLT). Job's solace was that God  is all powerful and mighty and that he can't understand God's ways, but  ultimately Job was blessed and drew closer to God.
